I enjoy working in a range of historic lettering styles to suit the time and subject of the book. I am happy to work to historic reference if asked by an art director and can adapt the forms to suit. Here the lettering has a flavour of the Tudor period but is designed to be legible and stand out on book shop shelves. I always enjoy trying new historic styles and with an interest in calligraphic and typographic history, I've collected a good range of material over the years from which to draw inspiration.
