I enjoyed working on these folk art inspired pieces for Valentine's Day. The paper hands and hearts were cut with scissors and then woven, along with silk ribbon to create the intricate patterns you can see below.

I combined the collaged papercut imagery with decorative Fraktur lettering and in the gold version below, I used gold paper and Finetec Gold Watercolour for added sparkle.
