I'm delighted to be able to share the National Parks Conservation Association illustrated timeline, commissioned by National Parks Magazine to celebrate the association's centenary in its Spring issue.
In their own words: 'A century ago, visionaries with a passion for America’s national parks saw the need for a strong, independent voice speaking out on their behalf. With the strength of 1.3 million members and supporters, the National Parks Conservation Association is that voice.'
I was asked to design the timeline layout across a double page spread and combined crisp typography with softer illustrative elements, focusing on key flora and fauna, people and sites throughout the association's history.
