I was delighted to be commissioned by Edinburgh publishing house, Canongate Books to develop this hand drawn lettering for the cover of Jane Roger's book, The Testament of Jessie Lamb.
As with all title commissions, a range of options were explored and discussed with the art director. A loosely handwritten, monoline script was chosen to complement the beautifully evocative image and give the cover an intimate, confessional feel.
